Angelo Valentini’s Biography
As Chief Financial Officer for Cisco Canada, Angelo Valentini oversees all financial operations for one of Cisco’s largest international subsidiaries. He’s responsible for leading Cisco Canada’s team of controllers, providing business support and financial leadership for product, services, and channel sales teams. He also provides guidance, deals and opportunities management, financial planning, forecasting, and key oversight in fiduciary and government issues.
In his most recent previous role at Cisco, Valentini served as Manager, Channels Operations sales for Canada. In that role, he was responsible for all aspects of Canadian channel sales operations including distributions, programs, and partner enablement.
He was also instrumental in leading the creation and launch of Cisco Canada’s contact center in support of partners that work with small and medium-sized businesses. Valentini joined Cisco in 1995. He has held numerous leadership positions including finance manager, iFS Controller, SOX Controller, Americas International Controller, and Canada Channel Controller.
Prior to joining Cisco, Valentini held staff and senior staff accountant roles with Grant Thorton and Solursh Feldman. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Ryerson University. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
